Privacy notice

This notice explains how we process the data you send through the contact form on the XLAM.com website and in the XLAM.com PDF documents (Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR).

Data processed

Company or name, contact person, email, phone, text of the request, selected profile and service, language and page of origin. For security and abuse prevention we also record the IP address the request is sent from.

Purposes and legal basis

Replying to your request and sending you the information or commercial offers you asked for: processing is necessary for pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Protecting the form against automated submissions and abuse: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use your data for newsletters or unsolicited promotional messages.

Providing data

Company or name, email and the request text are needed to reply; all other data are optional.

Recipients

Data are accessible to the staff handling requests and to the providers acting as processors: the website hosting and email service (Aruba S.p.A.) and the email service used to receive requests, which may involve processing outside the European Union on the basis of the safeguards in Arts. 45-46 GDPR. Data are not disclosed to the public.

Retention

We keep requests for 24 months from the last contact, unless a contract follows: in that case data are kept for the duration of the contract and as required by law.

Cookies and statistics

The homepage uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to collect aggregated visit statistics (pages viewed, referrer, device). Google Analytics sets third-party cookies and data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The website uses no advertising profiling cookies; fonts are hosted on the website itself.

You can block cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Arts. 15-22 GDPR) by writing to info@xlam.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of your country.
